skt2_2_p_elite-01In a disaster will help be moments away, day’s away, weeks away or……?

Disaster preparedness is becoming more and more a priority for many people who are beginning to realize that we need to be able to depend  on ourselves and our resources rather than on what the community, state or federal government may or may not be able to do for us.

The Red Cross, FEMA and others are advising that everyone should have at least a two week supply of food, water, warmth and shelter.

This guy may not get to you and yours in time.

Plan. Be Ready. Be Safe.

Do you have an action plan for survival preparedness?
skx2_bags_22Do you have the tools, supplies, food and water for at least two weeks if all systems fail and you are on your own?

Unfortunately many in our society have the mindset that the government, the state or the rest of society will always be there to save them, support them and nurture them. Hard cold truth? This just isn’t so, when the SHTF situation happens you’re pretty much on your own baby.
An early step is to set aside places in your home where you can begin to store up the tools, gear, food and other supplies you will need in an emergency situation. Whether you live in a small apartment or large house there are some inventive things you can do to find and make storage areas.
Got an empty dresser drawer, empty suitcases in the garage or closet, or room under the bed where you can begin to store up items?
Plan. Be Ready. Be Safe.

Don’t wait until the emergency happens to you.

Have a plan for the survival of yourself and your loved ones. Once the hurricane or tornado or blizzard is upon you it’s too late to plan. If you haven’t got a plan and the supplies and gear for survival you’re at the mercy of community rescue services, if they are available, if they can get to you.

There is no guarantee that anyone will come to your rescue, that you will be provided with food, water or shelter in time to save your life.

Basic survival supplies are a must for all of us.

Plan. Be Ready. Be Safe.

Hey Friends.
The government decides to shut down however  they all still get their fat salaries,
while 800,000 other Americans are forced to take an unpaid  ”vacation”.
It’s time to scream “enough is enough.”
Everyday folks like you and I are sick and tired of being used by a government who doesn’t have a clue who we are and what our daily struggles are.
When the SHTF the first place to be compromised will be the the cities and areas that
are densely populated and overcrowded.
Food, fuel and water will be quickly gone leaving people hungry and desperate.
People will do anything to
survive.

No matter where you live you are at least 1 to 2 hours away from safety and that’s if you know what you’re doing.

Plan. Be Ready. Be Safe!

Tropical Storms. Hurricanes. Tornados. Wildfires. Earthquakes.
Whatever the threat where you live, thousands of people every year face these very real natural disasters. People often survive these disasters only to then be subject to homelessness, hunger, thirst, illness, injury and even death because a disaster has struck them.
What you can do is be prepared. Be ready at a moments notice to escape. Have the provisions for survival, have enough food, shelter and water for at least three days. Plan on anything from three days to two weeks.
Do not rely on community resources because there won’t be nearly enough for everyone who needs assistance and depending upon the circumstances it may be days or weeks before supplies can be brought to your location.

Have your disaster kit, bug out bag or whatever you name it ready to grab and go.

Plan. Be Ready. Be Safe.
